Activity 27: Bottle Flowers

Princess Peanut and Teacher MummaOriginal pin: Inner child fun

I loved this pin, and it’s been sitting in my Pinterest folder begging to be done for a while now!!!

We started off with our trusty Crayola finger paints and a 600ml bottle. I thought this size would be easier for Princess Peanut to hold.

Princess Peanut was eager to start -although she found the idea of “stamping” tricky. She was happy to use the bottle as a bit of an alternate paint brush 😉

But with a bit of practice we got there…well sort of…

Stamping, stamping, smouching…..

And the final product!

Verdict: There wasn’t a lot of preparation involved (I really should do more “messy” activities, as the thought of it is worse than the actual activity!). Princess Peanut needs to work on her stamping, but otherwise she had fun. Like any activity with this age group, it was over pretty quickly, but enjoyable while it lasted.

Extension/ Adaption: Apart from doing this activity again at a later stage I think the rest is up to the child’s imagination and interpretation! 😉
